AIMS’ ERP Specialist, Cheryl Lipton, was invited to represent AIMS360 at FIDM’ Career Day. Hundreds of students walked the event, meeting numerous companies such as Bloomingdales, Hot topic, and AIMS. Cheryl, a Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising graduate, met with current students that are getting ready to venture out into the real world. She talked about her experiences at FIDM, the various jobs that followed and how she joined the AIMS team in 2013.
Students learned how an apparel ERP software is essential to run any fashion business and knowledge of using AIMS can give them a leading edge in their job search. Cheryl fielded many questions, discussed the AIMS Certification Program as well as how AIMS is the only apparel ERP software being taught in trade schools and universities. The students are our industry’s future and AIMS is committed to being a part of their education.
AIMS EDUCATION AND MENTORSHIP
AIMS 360 is the only apparel ERP software company paving the road for young professionals that would like to pursue a career in the fashion industry. From mentorship programs to education in trade schools and universities, AIMS prepares and provides students with the right business tools to be successful in a fashion business.
AIMS is the only apparel ERP software taught in trade schools and universities. They have donated more than $1 million worth of its software to Fashion Schools such as the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) and Los Angeles Trade Technical College (LATTC) since the launch of its “AIMS on the Internet (Cloud) for Fashion Schools” donation program, over 10 years ago. The donation offers students the advantage of learning technology software as applied in the apparel industry whilst giving them the opportunity of hands on experience to apply themselves.
