What Progressive Label does for AIMS360 brands

Progressive Label makes the branded and compliance trim on a garment: logo labels, hang tags, care and content labels, and price tickets. It develops, produces and distributes them worldwide. For brands on AIMS360 it also encodes RFID tags from the UPCs held in AIMS360, so the tag and ticket on the garment match the barcode the retailer's EDI purchase order, ASN and invoice carry.

Retailers check the ticket against the order. A UPC that differs between the hang tag, the carton label and the 856 ASN is a chargeback waiting to happen. Producing tickets and tags from the same product record that runs the EDI documents removes that mismatch at the source.

RFID tags encoded from the UPCs in AIMS360

AIMS360 keeps one UPC per style, color and size on the style record, with the description and the retail price. That is the data an RFID tag and a price ticket need. Progressive Label encodes the tag and prints the ticket from it, which is how a brand meets a retailer RFID program without re-keying product data into a second system.

The mechanics of GTIN to EPC encoding, the retailer programs we track and how store and warehouse reads reconcile to the AIMS360 stock record are on the barcodes and RFID page.
