Which ERP systems connect to ChatGPT, Claude and Grok?
Very few, and fewer still in apparel. Microsoft has shipped MCP servers for Dynamics 365 finance and operations and for Business Central, and a handful of other vendors have followed. Among ERPs built specifically for apparel and consumer brands, AIMS360 is one of the few offering a working connection today, and the only one we are aware of that covers all three of ChatGPT, Claude and Grok.
The three connections differ in how you get them, not in what they can see.

All three are read-only. All three read the same live AIMS360 orders and invoices, at the grain apparel actually needs: style, color, size, season and division.
What you can ask, in the words you would actually use
These are not canned reports. They are examples of wording that works, because AIMS360 resolves business language to the right fields behind the scenes. The practical difference is who gets to ask. Reporting in most ERPs is a skill, and you need to know which report, which filters, which date field. Here anyone who can type a sentence can get the number.

Each connection exposes a defined set of read-only tools over your live AIMS360 data. Orders cover the booked side of the business. Invoices cover what actually shipped and sold. Booked and shipped are kept separate, so the word sales is never ambiguous.

Built-in shortcuts cover what operators ask most: overdue orders, orders with no allocation, overdue invoices, and outstanding balance. Period-over-period comparison is built in as well, up to twelve periods, so this month against last, or the same month across three years, does not need a new report.
How AI improves inventory management in an ERP
Two different things get called AI in ERP, and they are worth keeping separate, because they solve different problems.
AI automations
Run on rules you set, and they act. Allocating inventory to orders by customer priority, order and ship date and channel. Forecasting demand. Triggering replenishment. Optimizing warehouse work and picking.

Neither one is useful if the data model treats every variant as a disconnected SKU. AIMS360 holds inventory as a style, color and size matrix, which is what makes an answer about size curves possible at all.

What MCP is, and why it matters for an ERP
Model Context Protocol is an open standard, published by Anthropic, for connecting AI assistants to outside systems. Before MCP, every assistant needed a bespoke integration for every tool. With MCP, AIMS360 builds the connection once and it works wherever MCP is supported, which is why the Claude and Grok connections are the same underlying server.
For an ERP the practical consequence is this. An assistant with no connection to your system will produce a confident, plausible, wrong number. A connected one retrieves the figure from AIMS360 and can show you the rows behind it. And a scoped connection sends only the rows the question needs, rather than the full export you would otherwise paste into a chat window.
What it does not do
- It cannot write. Every connection is read-only. No creating, editing, cancelling or deleting records in AIMS360 from a chat.
- It covers orders and invoices today. Production, cut tickets, raw material inventory and accounts payable are in AIMS360 but are not exposed to the assistant connections yet.
- Claude and Grok are not self-serve. There is no marketplace install. AIMS360 provisions each MCP connection against your tenant, which is deliberate, because it is what keeps the connection scoped to your company data.
- It does not replace scheduled reporting. For recurring output on a timetable, AIMS360 reporting is still the right tool.

No. Every AI assistant connection AIMS360 offers is read-only. An assistant can look up and analyze orders and invoices, but it cannot create, edit, cancel or delete anything in AIMS360. Your approvals, controls and role based access are untouched.

No. A dashboard answers the questions someone anticipated when they built it. An AI assistant connected to AIMS360 answers the question you have right now, including the follow-up, with no report request and no filter set to rebuild. For scheduled recurring output, AIMS360 reporting still does that job better.
Data handling is governed by your own workspace settings with the assistant provider and by your agreement with AIMS360.
