Retrofête sells glamour in three directions at once: direct to consumer through Shopify, wholesale through JOOR, and EDI purchase orders from retailers. Every stream pulls from inventory sitting at a third-party logistics warehouse, across dresses, shoes, bridal, and bags. AIMS360 is the backbone that manages receiving, orders, and inventory with the 3PL, so every channel runs off one live record.
“It's easy to use and easy to learn,” says Lema Benton, Retrofête's VP of Logistics. Here is what the setup looks like.
Founded in 2018 by Ohad Seroya and Aviad Klin, Retrofête is a New York womenswear label whose name fuses synonyms for vintage and party. The brand built its reputation on disco-era glamour, sequins, embellishment, and occasion dressing, and its pieces show up everywhere from luxury retail floors to red carpets.
Operationally, that glamour rides on logistics. Product lives at a 3PL, sells through the brand's Shopify storefront and through wholesale buyers ordering on JOOR, and every one of those orders has to hit the same inventory truthfully.
When fulfillment lives at a 3PL, the brand doesn't touch the boxes, but it still owns the truth. Goods arrive at the warehouse and have to be received into the system of record accurately. Shopify DTC orders, JOOR wholesale orders, and retailer EDI purchase orders all draw down the same stock. And the inventory number the 3PL is picking against has to match the number both selling channels believe. Run that on disconnected tools and the gaps show up as oversells, short ships, and reconciliation weekends.
AIMS360 sits in the middle and manages receiving, orders, and inventory with the 3PL for every order stream.
The system of record for receiving, orders, and inventory, tracked by style, color, and size. Every downstream decision reads from here.
AIMS360 connects natively with third-party logistics warehouses, keeping receipts, fulfillment, and stock levels in sync with the brand's record. How it works is on the 3PL integrations page.
The brand's own storefront sells against the live stock record, and web orders route to the 3PL for fulfillment without a manual relay in between.
Buyers place B2B orders on JOOR, and those orders land in AIMS360 alongside DTC, so wholesale commitments hit inventory the moment they exist. One team, one order management flow.
Retailer EDI purchase orders flow into the same workflow through AIMS360's in-house EDI, no third-party gateway in the middle. See the supported EDI retailers.
The store and the sample room are locations on the same ledger, so a piece on the floor or in the showroom is just as visible and countable as a carton at the 3PL.
Retrofête's range is not one product shape. A sequin midi sizes nothing like a strappy heel, and a beaded clutch has no size run at all. AIMS360's style-color-size matrices flex per category, so dresses, shoes, bridal, bags, and accessories live in one catalog with the attributes each type needs, and every channel sells from the same record regardless of what the product is.
Occasion wear lives on loan. Pieces go out to press, stylists, and VIPs, samples circulate through the sample room, and the store floor holds inventory that is very much still money. AIMS360 tracks all of it: store and sample room stock as locations on the live ledger, and gifting management recording what went out, to whom, and what came back. The glamour stays glamorous; the accounting stays boring.
The operational win only counts if the team can run the system without friction. Here is Retrofête's VP of Logistics, in her own words.
“It's easy to use and easy to learn. I also like that sometimes, if you're stuck and you need assistance with navigating AIMS, you don't necessarily have to reach out to your implementation person right away. You can access the knowledge base and try to figure it out yourself before moving to the next step. I think that saves time, because sometimes it's a small thing that you are missing, and you could literally just find it in the reference and it just works.”

What brands with a 3PL and two sales channels ask most.
Retrofête runs AIMS360 as its system of record, managing receiving, orders, and inventory with its third-party logistics warehouse. Shopify DTC orders and JOOR wholesale orders both flow through the same AIMS360 workflow against one live stock record.
AIMS360's 3PL integrations are built in-house and keep the brand's record and the warehouse's operations in sync: receipts land in AIMS360 as goods arrive, orders route to the 3PL for fulfillment, and inventory levels stay aligned on both sides. The full picture is on the 3PL integrations page.
Yes, and that combination is exactly Retrofête's setup. AIMS360 holds one master stock record; the Shopify storefront, B2B orders from JOOR, and retailer EDI purchase orders all draw from it, so no two channels can quietly promise the same unit. Details on the omnichannel order management page.
Yes. The sample room and the store are locations on the same live ledger as the 3PL, so every piece is visible wherever it sits. Gifting management records pieces sent to press, stylists, and VIPs, and what came back, so samples stop disappearing untracked.
Yes. Alongside implementation and support teams, AIMS360 maintains a searchable knowledge base, and Retrofête's VP of Logistics calls it out specifically: when something small is blocking you, the answer is often findable in the reference before you ever open a ticket, which keeps the team moving.
Retrofête's VP of Logistics, Lema Benton, puts it directly: easy to use and easy to learn, with a knowledge base that lets the team resolve small blockers themselves instead of waiting on a call back. Onboarding is led by a dedicated implementation contact, with self-serve reference material behind it.
Contemporary womenswear is home turf. Retrofête and Generation Love both run on AIMS360, covering two very different operating models: a 3PL-fulfilled DTC and wholesale business, and an omnichannel brand with its own stores. Start with the fashion and apparel ERP page.
