Best fashion ERP software in 2026: 10 apparel ERP systems compared

AIMS360, BlueCherry, ApparelMagic, Aptean, Ai2000, Sync, Uphance, Fulfil, NetSuite and Apparel21, compared on the things that decide an apparel ERP: retailer EDI, warehouse, production, Shopify, pricing and go-live. Each pick says who it fits and what to test before you sign.

By , CEO, AIMS360. Updated October 27, 2026. First published February 4, 2026.

There's no single best fashion ERP for every brand. The right one depends on how you sell and what you make. AIMS360 fits consumer brands from about $1 million to $400 million+ in sales that sell on Shopify, wholesale and marketplaces and want inventory, orders, production and the warehouse on one stock record, with retailer EDI built in for when they sell to department stores. BlueCherry and Aptean Exenta fit manufacturers that own production and want PLM and shop floor control inside the ERP. ApparelMagic fits small brands that want published plan prices and built-in accounting. Fulfil fits Shopify Plus brands doing $15 million to $1 billion with multi-warehouse or multi-channel complexity. NetSuite fits multi-entity groups where financial consolidation is the hard part. Apparel21 fits store fleets in Australia and New Zealand.

Disclosure: AIMS360 publishes this guide and lists itself first. Competitor facts come from each vendor's own site or a named third party, checked on October 8, 2026, and every write-up lists its sources. If something has changed, tell us and we'll update it.

How we evaluated

How we evaluated fashion ERP systems

We scored each system on the six areas where apparel ERPs differ most. Facts come from vendor websites, press releases and named third parties such as Capterra, SelectHub and ERP Research, checked October 8, 2026. Where a vendor does not publish something, we say so rather than guess.

01

Style, color and size

A real matrix: size scales, prepacks, case packs and available-to-sell by size, not a list of loose SKUs.

02

Retailer EDI and compliance

Who builds and maintains the maps, how many retailers are live, and what each document costs.

03

Warehouse and 3PL

Bin locations, scanning, pick and pack, and clean connections to the 3PLs brands actually use.

04

Production and PLM

BOMs, costing, cut tickets and work in process, and where design and tech packs live.

05

Shopify, marketplaces and B2B

Two-way inventory and order sync with Shopify and Amazon, plus wholesale portals like NuORDER and JOOR.

06

Cost, go-live and AI access

What is published, what is quoted, how long go-live takes, and which AI assistants can work with your data.

The 10 systems

The 10 best apparel and fashion ERP systems for 2026

AIMS360 is first because we make it. The other nine follow in no particular ranking order. Every entry has the same parts: who it fits, verified facts, and what to test in a demo.

01

1. AIMS360

Best for: consumer brands from about $1M to $400M+ in sales that run Shopify, wholesale, marketplaces and production and want inventory, orders and the warehouse on one stock record, with retailer EDI built in for when they sell to department stores.

AIMS360 was founded in 1984 in the Los Angeles Garment District and has served 10,000+ brands over 40 years, with 600+ active brands processing $2.5B+ in orders a year. It's built on apparel and also runs footwear, jewelry, beauty, home, pet and other consumer brands.

  • EDI: native and built in-house, with 350+ supported retailers, unlimited transactions and no VAN or per-document fees. See EDI.
  • Warehouse: WMS is included in every plan, and each WMS user subscription comes with a handheld scanner. RFID is a paid add-on. Read our guide to apparel inventory management software.
  • Production and PLM: styles and colors, size matrix, samples and draft styles, bills of materials, costing, cut tickets, work in process and a generated spec sheet. Tech packs are stored against the style, order or cut ticket, and design work flows in through PLM integrations such as Centric PLM, WFX and BeProduct.
  • Shopify: Shopify, Shopify Plus, Shopify B2B and Shopify POS sync in real time, and the AIMS360 app is listed in the Shopify App Store. See Shopify.
  • Scale: 1.2 million orders in a single day for one brand.
  • AI: AIMS360 connects to the AI your team already uses. ChatGPT, Claude and Grok connect through AIMS360's own MCP server to answer plain-English questions from live orders, invoices and inventory, and to create and update orders and customers within each user's AIMS360 role. See AIMS360 with ChatGPT and Claude.
  • Go-live: typically 3 to 16 weeks depending on complexity, with the date agreed during scoping before you sign. 99% of clients are live within 90 days, with a 97.5% project success rate, from AIMS360's own implementation analysis. Implementation is run by AIMS360's own team, so no outside ERP consultant is required.

Retrofête, True Religion and Los Angeles Apparel run on AIMS360, and Beyond Yoga scaled on it through its roughly $400 million acquisition by Levi Strauss & Co.

What to test: price the add-ons you need on day one, such as EDI retailers, Shopify and accounting sync, and get the go-live date in writing during scoping.

Where it is not the fit: if multi-entity global financial consolidation is your hardest problem, NetSuite is built around that, and AIMS360 can sync to it as the general ledger. If you own factories and need MES and shop floor control inside the ERP, look at BlueCherry or Aptean Exenta.

02

2. BlueCherry by CGS

Best for: larger apparel, footwear and lifestyle manufacturers that want ERP, PLM, MES and shop floor control from one vendor.

BlueCherry is sold by CGS, which was founded in New York City in 1984. In July 2025 CGS restructured into separate companies, and BlueCherry, now branded BlueCherry by CGS, stayed with the CGS software business. The suite covers ERP, warehouse management, ecommerce integration, EDI, business intelligence, PLM, MES, shop floor control, AI planning and a B2B wholesale platform. BlueCherry describes itself as AI-augmented and cloud-native, and offers on-premise, cloud or hybrid deployment.

Pricing is not published on the vendor site. SelectHub lists BlueCherry from $50,000 one-time.

What to test: total project scope. Ask which modules you need at go-live, the services estimate and timeline, and which deployment you would run, so the first-year cost is clear.

03

3. ApparelMagic

Best for: small apparel brands that want a cloud ERP with PLM, built-in accounting and published plan prices.

ApparelMagic says it has been innovating in apparel since 1984, and it runs in the cloud with no installation. It publishes three plans on annual billing: Professional at $337 a month (3 users, 3 integrations, 3 warehouses, 1 B2B store), Enterprise at $655 a month (5 users, 5 integrations, 5 warehouses, 3 B2B stores) and Ultimate at a custom price for 10+ users. It covers PLM and production, syncs styles, images and inventory to Shopify, and has a Shopify POS integration.

EDI runs through an SPS Commerce integration. Advanced WMS features such as cartonization and SSCC labels are on the Ultimate plan. ApparelMagic Intelligence, its AI suite, is a paid add-on, and its MCP connection for ChatGPT, Claude and other AI clients is available on Enterprise and Ultimate, with read-only or full-access tokens.

What to test: map your three-year plan against the caps on users, integrations, warehouses and B2B stores. Then add the EDI provider and, if you need it, the Ultimate tier for advanced WMS to the total.

04

4. Aptean apparel ERP (RLM, Exenta, Full Circle, Momentis)

Best for: established wholesalers and makers that want a large vendor with several apparel editions to choose from.

Aptean, headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, built its apparel lineup through acquisitions: Full Circle (2020), Exenta (2021), RLM (2022), ImPuls in Germany (2022), Apparel Business Systems (2023) and Momentis (2024), plus the Aptos planning and PLM division it agreed to buy in 2022. Each edition has a different center of gravity:

  • Exenta: integrated PLM, built-in EDI, warehouse management and real-time shop floor control, with cloud or on-premise deployment.
  • RLM: founded in 1978, with a built-in WMS module and PLM integration.
  • Full Circle: distribution and warehouse tools such as reserve allocations and scan and pack, plus EDI and domestic production planning.
  • Momentis: cloud web and mobile apps, WMS, PLM with tech packs, and English and French support.

Each edition describes integrated EDI, and Aptean's EDI service page describes a managed service with what Aptean calls pay-only-for-what-you-use pricing. Edition pricing is by request.

What to test: confirm which edition you would be on and what roadmap commitment Aptean will put in writing for it. None of the four edition pages names an ecommerce platform, so ask for a live Shopify order demo.

05

5. Ai2000 (formerly A2000)

Best for: apparel, footwear and home goods companies that want native financials inside the ERP from a long-time apparel vendor.

Ai2000, formerly A2000 Software, has 30+ years in apparel and says it is built exclusively for apparel, footwear and home goods. Modules include native EDI, warehouse management, production and PLM, and native financials. On AI, it says the platform plugs into models from Google (Gemini), OpenAI and Anthropic (Claude). The vendor quotes a 30-day go-live.

Pricing is not on its site. On Capterra, the vendor lists a starting price of $200 per user a month, and the product rates 4.7 from 17 reviews.

What to test: native financials means your accountant works in the ERP's own ledger, so have them run a month-end close in the demo. Check the 30-day go-live against your real scope.

Sources: Ai2000, Capterra.

06

6. Sync

Best for: apparel and footwear brands that want PLM, B2B, EDI, WMS and accounting in one vendor's cloud.

Sync, from iSync Solutions, is built only for apparel and footwear and says 300+ brands run on it. EDI is native (850, 856, 810, 846 and more), the WMS is built in or connects to your 3PL, and its own PLM tracks specs, fit, tech packs and seasonal ranges. It has two-way Shopify sync, NuORDER, JOOR and Brandboom integrations, and an apparel-aware accounting module alongside QuickBooks, Xero and NetSuite connections.

Sync connects to Claude through MCP and says most brands go live in under 90 days. It has offices in Durban, Cape Town, Laguna Hills and Sydney.

What to test: if your designers already use another PLM, test the handoff. Ask for the named list of live retailer EDI connections.

Sources: Sync, ITWeb profile.

07

7. Uphance

Best for: growing apparel brands in the $5M to $100M range that want PLM, production, wholesale, EDI and DTC in one system.

Uphance is headquartered in Houston, Texas, and targets brands in the $5 million to $100 million revenue range. It runs EDI natively, names Nordstrom, Macy's, Bloomingdale's and Saks, and integrates with EzCom and Rithum (DSCO). It covers receiving through packing in the warehouse, and tech packs, BOMs and factory POs in production.

Its own site has no public pricing tiers, but its Shopify App Store listing shows Essentials at $249, Plus at $499 and Premium at $999 a month, with added users at $59.

What to test: ask for the named retailer EDI connections and a reference customer at your order volume and revenue.

Sources: Uphance, Uphance EDI, Shopify App Store listing.

08

8. Fulfil

Best for: Shopify Plus brands doing $15M to $1B that want a commerce ERP with native Shopify, EDI and WMS.

Fulfil has been around since 2015 and targets Shopify Plus brands doing $15 million to $1 billion with operational complexity, across twelve verticals that include fashion and apparel. Shopify connects natively with no middleware, the WMS covers in-house operations, and production controls cover in-house and outsourced manufacturing. EDI is built in, and partner platforms such as SPS Commerce, Orderful and CommerceHub are optional at extra cost.

Its MCP connection lets Claude and ChatGPT create and update records, with write actions needing approval by default. It runs on Google Cloud in US data centers, and pricing is quoted.

What to test: run apparel specifics on your own data: prepacks, size-run allocation, retailer routing guide compliance and factoring.

Sources: Fulfil, Fulfil EDI, Fulfil MCP.

09

9. NetSuite (SuiteSuccess for apparel, footwear and accessories)

Best for: multi-entity companies where financial consolidation is the hardest problem.

Oracle bought NetSuite in 2016. NetSuite sells a SuiteSuccess edition for apparel, footwear and accessories, built on practices from a professional services team dedicated to apparel, footwear and accessories, and available only from NetSuite. WMS is an add-on module, and the license is an annual fee based on the base platform, modules and users, plus a one-time implementation fee. Retailer EDI runs through third-party providers.

NetSuite's AI Connector Service uses MCP and documents Claude setup, and in March 2026 NetSuite announced MCP Apps that will also work with ChatGPT and Gemini. Third-party estimates from Epiq put the base license at about $999 to $5,000 a month, full users at $125 to $199 each a month, and implementation at $25,000 to $150,000+.

What to test: total cost of ownership. Add the EDI provider, connectors, the WMS module, apparel configuration and partner implementation to the license.

10

10. Apparel21

Best for: fashion retailers and wholesalers in Australia and New Zealand, and now the UK, that run store fleets.

Apparel21 calls itself the leading ERP in Australia and New Zealand and is now available in the United Kingdom. It is a Vela Software Group company. It combines merchandise planning, production, wholesale with warehouse management, retail back office and POS, with 125+ fashion retailers and 3,000+ retail locations on the platform. Apparel21 Connect links Shopify and marketplaces such as The Iconic, Macy's and eBay.

What to test: if US wholesale is on the plan, test ANSI X12 EDI with named US retailers and ask about support in US time zones.

Sources: Apparel21, Apparel21 wholesale.

Which fashion ERP fits your business?

Revenue matters less than channel mix. A $10 million brand shipping to Nordstrom and Macy's needs different software than a $50 million brand that only sells on Shopify.

Small brand, mostly DTC, a few boutiques

AIMS360's Bronze plan starts at three users with the warehouse included and runs Shopify, wholesale and production on one stock record, and retailer EDI is already built in when department stores come along, so you only migrate once. ApparelMagic's Professional plan and Cin7 Core publish a monthly price.

Growing brand selling to department stores and on Shopify

AIMS360, Sync, Uphance and Fulfil all describe EDI built into the ERP. Compare named retailer lists, warehouse depth and who maintains the maps when a routing guide changes.

Manufacturer with owned factories

BlueCherry and Aptean Exenta put PLM, MES and shop floor control inside the ERP.

Shopify Plus brand moving into wholesale

FAQ

Fashion ERP FAQ

Direct answers to the questions brands ask when comparing fashion ERP systems.

It depends on how you sell. AIMS360 fits consumer brands from about $1 million to $400 million+ in sales that run Shopify, wholesale and production on one stock record, with retailer EDI built in for when they sell to department stores. BlueCherry and Aptean Exenta fit manufacturers that own production. ApparelMagic fits small brands that want published plan prices and built-in accounting. Fulfil fits Shopify Plus brands doing $15 million to $1 billion with multi-warehouse or multi-channel complexity. NetSuite fits multi-entity groups led by finance. Apparel21 fits store fleets in Australia and New Zealand.

Fashion ERP software runs an apparel business on one record: inventory by style, color and size, orders from every channel, retailer EDI, warehouse, production and accounting. It differs from a generic ERP because it handles size scales, prepacks, seasons and retailer compliance as built-in concepts rather than custom work.

AIMS360 runs EDI natively and in-house, with 350+ supported retailers and no per-document fees. Sync, Uphance, Fulfil and Ai2000 also describe native or built-in EDI, each Aptean edition describes integrated EDI, and BlueCherry includes an EDI module. ApparelMagic connects through an SPS Commerce integration, and NetSuite uses third-party EDI providers.

Published and listed prices include Uphance's Shopify App Store plans from $249 a month, ApparelMagic at $337 and $655 a month, and Cin7 Core at $349 to $1,199 a month. Enterprise projects are quoted: SelectHub lists BlueCherry from $50,000 one-time, and third-party estimates put NetSuite at about $999 to $5,000 a month before users and implementation. AIMS360 publishes its plan structure and quotes the price, with no per-order, per-document, per-transaction or VAN fees.

Vendor-stated timelines vary. AIMS360 typically goes live in 3 to 16 weeks, with 99% of clients live within 90 days. Ai2000 quotes 30 days and Sync says most brands go live in under 90 days. Retailer EDI connections, warehouses, production depth and data quality move the date more than anything else.

AIMS360 syncs Shopify, Shopify Plus, Shopify B2B and Shopify POS in real time and has a listed Shopify app. Fulfil connects natively to Shopify with no middleware, Sync has two-way Shopify sync, ApparelMagic syncs to Shopify and Shopify POS, and Uphance has a listed Shopify app. For Shopify-first brands, also see the AIMS360 guide to the best ERP for Shopify.

Yes, several now do. AIMS360 connects ChatGPT, Claude and Grok to live ERP data through its own MCP server, so teams use the AI they already have to answer questions and to create and update orders and customers within each user's role. ApparelMagic offers MCP on its Enterprise and Ultimate plans, Sync connects to Claude through MCP, Fulfil lets Claude and ChatGPT create and update records, NetSuite has an AI Connector Service, and Ai2000 says it connects to Gemini, OpenAI and Claude models.

It depends on the system and how much design work you run in-house. AIMS360 covers product development and production: styles and colors, the size matrix, samples, BOMs, costing, cut tickets, work in process and generated spec sheets, with tech packs stored against the style and design tools connected through its Centric PLM, WFX and BeProduct integrations. Sync, BlueCherry, Aptean Exenta, ApparelMagic and Ai2000 sell PLM inside their own suites.

NetSuite is strong at multi-entity financial consolidation and sells a SuiteSuccess edition for apparel, footwear and accessories. Retailer EDI runs through third-party providers, and WMS is an add-on module, so price those in. Some brands run AIMS360 for apparel operations and sync it to NetSuite as the general ledger.

AIMS360's Bronze plan starts at three users with WMS included and runs Shopify, wholesale and production on one stock record. When department stores come along, native EDI turns on as an add-on on the same platform, with a flat monthly fee per retailer and unlimited transactions, so you avoid a second migration. If you sell mostly DTC and want a published monthly price, ApparelMagic and Cin7 Core are common picks.

A generic ERP models size and color as simple variants at best, and usually leaves retailer EDI, prepacks and routing guides to partners or custom work. A fashion ERP builds in the style-color-size matrix, seasons, case packs, retailer compliance and chargeback handling, so the work runs without spreadsheets on the side.

AIMS360 wrote this guide and lists itself first. We compared each system on style-color-size handling, retailer EDI, warehouse, production and PLM, Shopify and B2B, cost, go-live and AI access. Competitor facts come from the vendor's own site or a named third party, checked October 8, 2026, and each write-up lists its sources.
