AIMS360 integrates with Loop Returns to connect Shopify returns to your ERP. A return submitted in Loop creates a return authorization in AIMS360 automatically, so receiving, restocking, credits, and inventory stay in one system.

Loop runs the shopper-facing return on Shopify. AIMS360 is the system of record behind it. When a shopper submits a return in Loop, a return authorization is created in AIMS360 automatically, so receiving, restocking, credits, and inventory stay in one place. The integration is built and maintained by AIMS360.
For consumer goods and product-based brands selling on Shopify, wholesale, and retail.
Loop is a returns and exchange platform for Shopify brands. AIMS360 is the ERP that runs inventory, orders, production, and accounting. Each does the part it is built for.
This is the documented flow between the two systems. Loop is integrated into the AIMS360 Runway app, so returns are managed from AIMS360 without leaving it.
The shopper starts a return or exchange in Loop's branded portal on your Shopify store.
A return authorization appears automatically in the Return Authorization and Credit Memos module.
Once the item arrives, open the RMA and restock it. Total credit on the RMA updates as you go.
Issue the credit from the RMA. The refund reaches the shopper through Loop on the original payment method.
Post a debit adjustment in the AR Adjustments module so the open credit on the account is cleared.
Loop recommends waiting until the returned item has been received before restocking it on the RMA, so inventory counts stay accurate. Full technical detail lives in Loop's AIMS360 integration documentation, and AIMS360 is listed in the Loop tech partner directory under ERP.
Most integration pages claim everything is automatic. Here is the accurate picture, so your finance and warehouse teams know exactly what to expect before go-live.
| Task | How it happens |
|---|---|
| Return authorization created from a Loop return | AutomaticCreated in AIMS360 as soon as the shopper submits |
| Return details visible inside AIMS360 | AutomaticViewed in the Runway app without leaving AIMS360 |
| Receiving and restocking returned units | Your stepOpen the RMA and restock once goods arrive, by style, color, and size |
| Total credit calculated on the RMA | AutomaticUpdates as units are restocked |
| Refund reaching the shopper | AutomaticIssued from the RMA and returned to the original payment method through Loop |
| Accounts receivable adjustment | Your stepPost a debit adjustment to offset the open credit on the account |
| Exchange order brought into AIMS360 | Your stepImport the exchange order from Shopify, then set shipping and payment type |
| Exchange order priced against the return | AutomaticItems are discounted by the value of the returned items |
The steps marked as yours are deliberate control points, not gaps. Receiving is where inventory accuracy is won or lost, and the AR adjustment is where finance confirms the refund cleared. Both belong with a person who owns the number.
Setup is an API key exchange, done once per Shopify store. You need access to the AIMS360 Runway app before you start.
No access to Runway yet? Your implementation manager can enable it. Loop-side availability depends on your Loop plan, so check with your Loop contact if the integration does not appear.
A return is only finished when inventory, accounting, and every other channel agree. That is the part a returns app cannot do on its own, and the reason the ERP sits underneath it.
Sales orders, allocation, and production tracking from purchase order through receipt.
Live inventory by style, color, and size across your warehouses and 3PLs.
Built-in EDI to major retailers plus B2B wholesale, with no middleware in between.
Credit memos, AR, and margin by style, customer, and channel, synced to your books.
Loop is used well beyond apparel, and so is AIMS360. If your brand carries sizes, colors, variants, or lot-tracked goods, the return has to reconcile against real inventory.
AIMS360 has run consumer brand operations since 1984.
We will walk the whole path on your own catalog: a return submitted in Loop, the RMA in AIMS360, the restock, the credit, and the accounting entry that closes it.
