Native Bergdorf Goodman EDI inside AIMS360: 850 orders in, GS1-128 carton labels, the 856 ASN with the pickup number in the PUA/Load field, and the 810 invoice.

Bergdorf Goodman EDI Integration
AIMS360 is a consumer brands ERP with Bergdorf Goodman EDI built in. One platform runs your inventory by style, color and size and handles what Bergdorf Goodman asks of a vendor: the 850 purchase order in, GS1-128 carton labels, the 856 ship notice with the pickup confirmation number in the PUA/Load field, and the 810 invoice billed from the same shipment, plus the 855 and 860 when required and the 846 inventory feed for drop ship. Bergdorf Goodman is set up as its own trading partner, separate from Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, and the connection is managed by our EDI team.
What system manages inventory and does EDI with Bergdorf Goodman? AIMS360. It runs your inventory and your Bergdorf Goodman EDI in one platform. The 850 imports as a sales order against your UPCs, GS1-128 labels print as cartons are packed, and the 856 is built from that same shipment with the pickup confirmation number in the PUA/Load field, the field Bergdorf Goodman uses in place of the PRO number field Neiman Marcus uses. The 810 invoice comes from the same record, so the PO, the ASN and the invoice agree. The 855 acknowledgment and 860 change are supported when Bergdorf Goodman requires them, and the 846 sends your available inventory, which drop ship runs on. Store codes are four digits and Bergdorf Goodman supplies the store list. Our own EDI team builds the maps and runs the connection, and EDI is a flat monthly fee per retailer with no per-document charges.

Bergdorf EDI Documents
Built from the same ERP records that run your inventory, warehouse and accounting, so what Bergdorf Goodman receives matches what shipped.
| Transaction | What it does for Bergdorf Goodman |
|---|---|
| EDI 850 purchase order | Bergdorf Goodman transmits the order and AIMS360 imports it as a sales order, validated against your catalog at the UPC level. |
| EDI 855 PO acknowledgment | When Bergdorf Goodman requires it: confirms the order back, line by line, from the sales order the 850 created. |
| EDI 860 PO change | When Bergdorf Goodman requires it: changes to an open order are applied to the live sales order instead of being keyed by hand. |
| EDI 856 ship notice (ASN) | Carton-level notice with GS1-128 label data, sent at shipment close. The pickup confirmation number goes in the PUA/Load field on this document. |
| EDI 810 invoice | Bills Bergdorf Goodman electronically from the same shipment the ASN was built from. |
| EDI 846 inventory feed | Sends Bergdorf Goodman your available inventory from the same stock record that feeds every other channel. This is the document drop ship runs on. |
| EDI 997 acknowledgment | Confirms each file arrived and parsed, tracked in both directions. |
Which of the 855 and 860 you exchange depends on Bergdorf Goodman's requirements for your brand. The 846 matters most for drop ship, because it tells Bergdorf Goodman what you can ship today.
Vendor Requirements
Most of it is standard department store EDI. One field is where brands that already sell Neiman Marcus slip.
| Requirement | What Bergdorf Goodman expects |
|---|---|
| Pickup confirmation number | Required with the ASN, in the PUA/Load field. Not the PRO number field. AIMS360 applies it across a batch of shipments at once from shipment processing. |
| GS1-128 carton labels | A label on every carton, with data that matches the 856 carton by carton. |
| Store codes | Four digits. Bergdorf Goodman sends the store and distribution center list as a spreadsheet on request, and it imports straight in. |
| Carrier codes | A SCAC and a valid transport code on every carrier, usually M for motor carrier or P for small package. Set up every carrier you might use before go-live. |
| Vendor number | Issued by Bergdorf Goodman. Contact your buyer if you do not have one. |
| FOB terms | Set from your Bergdorf Goodman vendor manual on the customer account. |
| Packing rules | A packing rule held against the trading partner packs every Bergdorf Goodman carton the same way, whoever is packing that day. |
These come from the vendor guide Bergdorf Goodman issues to your brand. Missed requirements usually come back as deductions, which AIMS360 tracks in chargeback management.
Bergdorf EDI Workflow
One loop in one system, so the order, the cartons, the ASN and the invoice are the same data.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Order arrives | The 850 lands and becomes a sales order, validated against your catalog. |
| 2. Allocate | Units come off the same stock record that feeds every other channel you sell. |
| 3. Pick, pack, ship | The built-in warehouse module packs to your Bergdorf Goodman packing rule, and GS1-128 carton labels print from the shipment. |
| 4. Pickup confirmation | The confirmation number is applied to the PUA/Load field, in batch across the shipments going out. |
| 5. ASN | The 856 is sent at shipment close, carton by carton. |
| 6. Invoice | The 810 bills against the same shipment record. |
| 7. Payment | The payment posts against the invoice in accounts receivable, and any deduction is tracked to resolution. |
Native EDI
No. The EDI is part of the ERP that already runs your inventory.
The ASN is generated from the shipment your warehouse closed, so the carton counts on the document and the cartons on the truck are the same data.
Our EDI team builds the maps, runs the test cycle with Bergdorf Goodman and keeps the connection current. EDI is a flat monthly fee per retailer with unlimited transactions and no per-document charges.
A separate EDI provider sits between your ERP and the retailer. Documents are built from data synced over from the ERP rather than from the shipment itself, and each new trading partner is usually another line on another invoice.
Every handoff between the two systems is a place for the ASN and the cartons to drift apart.
Exemplar Luxury Group
All three banners sit under Exemplar Luxury Group. On the EDI side each one is its own trading partner, so each gets its own setup in AIMS360, and all three draw from the same inventory.
| Banner | What is different on the EDI side |
|---|---|
| Bergdorf Goodman | Pickup confirmation in the PUA/Load field. Four-digit store codes. Two Fifth Avenue stores plus bergdorfgoodman.com. |
| Neiman Marcus | Pickup confirmation in the PRO number field on LTL and truckload shipments. The Neiman Marcus SKU is captured from the 850 and sent back on the 856 and 810. |
| Saks Fifth Avenue | Its own vendor number, vendor guide and programs, set up separately from the other two. |
Saks Global bought Neiman Marcus Group, which included Bergdorf Goodman, in December 2024 (Business Wire). The ownership changed, the trading partner setups did not.
Selling to Bergdorf in 2026
Four changes worth knowing before you ship the next order.
Saks Global extended its NuORDER partnership to Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman, so buyers can write wholesale orders there. AIMS360 pushes products, customers and inventory to NuORDER and imports the orders automatically through its native NuORDER integration.
Saks Global filed for Chapter 11 on January 13, 2026 and emerged on June 26, 2026 as Exemplar Luxury Group, with Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue as its banners. Bergdorf Goodman's two Fifth Avenue stores stayed open, and Exemplar says vendors are now paid on agreed terms.
Exemplar runs more than 350 concession and consignment agreements alongside wholesale. AIMS360 tracks consignment inventory by location and invoices from what sold, next to your wholesale EDI orders.
If you factor, AIMS360 sends each order to your factor for credit approval before it ships and assigns the invoice when it does. If you do not, the account sits on your AR aging with every other retailer.

One Stock Record
Bergdorf Goodman does not need its own inventory file. In AIMS360 it does not have one.
| Situation | What AIMS360 does |
|---|---|
| Bulk orders to the DC | Bergdorf Goodman draws from the same stock record as wholesale, Shopify and every other retailer, so nothing separate needs maintaining between orders. |
| More than one warehouse | Availability rolls up across locations, and the order carries the location it will ship from. |
| A 3PL holding stock | Integrated 3PL locations feed the same record. |
| Drop ship inventory feed | The 846 sends Bergdorf Goodman your available inventory from this same stock record, so it sells only what you can ship. |
| Consignment stock | Goods placed at a retailer are tracked by location and stay on your books until they sell. |
| The sister banners | Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue run from their own trading partner setups against the same inventory. |

Bergdorf Goodman EDI FAQ
The questions brands ask before and after the first Bergdorf Goodman order.
AIMS360. It is a consumer brands ERP with Bergdorf Goodman EDI built in: the 850 purchase order in, GS1-128 carton labels, and the 856 ship notice and 810 invoice out, with 997 acknowledgments tracked. It also handles the 855 acknowledgment and 860 change when Bergdorf Goodman requires them, and sends the 846 inventory feed. Inventory, warehouse and EDI are one system, so the ASN is built from the shipment your warehouse closed. Our own EDI team builds the maps and runs the connection.
The core set is the 850 purchase order in and the 856 ship notice and 810 invoice out, with 997 acknowledgments in both directions and a GS1-128 label on every carton. AIMS360 also supports the 855 purchase order acknowledgment and the 860 purchase order change, set up when Bergdorf Goodman's requirements for your brand call for them, and sends the 846 inventory feed, which drop ship runs on.
In the PUA/Load field of the 856. Neiman Marcus wants its pickup confirmation in the PRO number field instead, so a setup copied from a Neiman Marcus account gets this wrong. In AIMS360 the number can be applied to a batch of shipments at once from shipment processing rather than typed on each one.
No. Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue share a parent company, Exemplar Luxury Group, but each is its own trading partner with its own vendor number, vendor guide and setup. Being live with Neiman Marcus or Saks does not put you live with Bergdorf Goodman.
Exemplar Luxury Group. That is the name Saks Global took when it emerged from Chapter 11 on June 26, 2026, with three banners: Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. Saks Global bought Neiman Marcus Group, Bergdorf Goodman's longtime parent, in December 2024. The change in ownership did not merge the EDI trading partners, so each banner is still set up on its own.
Yes. A GS1-128 label goes on every carton, and the label data has to match the 856. AIMS360 prints GS1-128 labels as cartons are packed, from the same shipment record the ASN is built from, so the two cannot disagree.
Ask Bergdorf Goodman for it. They provide the store and distribution center locations as a spreadsheet, which imports into AIMS360 instead of being keyed by hand. Store codes are four digits on this trading partner. The store load is part of implementation.
Bergdorf Goodman issues it. If you do not have one yet, ask your buyer. The vendor number goes on your Bergdorf Goodman customer account in AIMS360, and it is the first thing our EDI team asks for when onboarding starts.
In June 2025 Saks Global extended its NuORDER partnership to Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman, so their buyers can write wholesale orders in NuORDER. AIMS360 has a native NuORDER integration: products, customers and inventory push to NuORDER, and orders written there import into AIMS360 automatically. On the EDI program, the purchase order you ship and invoice against arrives as the 850.
Neiman Marcus Group runs drop ship for its banners through a vendor direct platform, and an NMG drop ship guide from 2018 listed Bergdorf Goodman among its order channels. Whether your brand ships bergdorfgoodman.com orders direct depends on your agreement. If it does, AIMS360 sends the 846 inventory feed from the same stock record that feeds your other channels, so Bergdorf Goodman sells only what you can actually ship. Send us the drop ship guide and our EDI team confirms the rest of the documents before you commit.
Yes. Exemplar Luxury Group runs more than 350 concession and consignment agreements alongside wholesale. AIMS360 tracks consignment inventory by location, so goods placed at a retailer stay on your books until they sell, and the invoice is built from what actually sold.
Ship on terms you are comfortable with and watch the account. Saks Global filed for Chapter 11 on January 13, 2026 and emerged as Exemplar Luxury Group on June 26, 2026, and Exemplar says vendors are now paid on agreed terms. In AIMS360 the account sits on your AR aging with every other retailer, and if you factor, each order goes to your factor for credit approval before it ships.
Yes. Each retailer has its own trading partner setup, and all of them draw from the same inventory record and warehouse. That includes Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's and the rest of the 350+ retailers on our EDI retailer list.
We do. The maps belong to our EDI team, so when Bergdorf Goodman revises its vendor guide the update is our work, not a project for your team. Emergency support runs 24/7.
See AIMS360 run the account from the same inventory record as everything else you sell.
