The short answer

Who is RKE, and how does it work with AIMS360?

RKE is Richardson Kontogouris Emerson LLP, a public accounting firm headquartered in Torrance, California, with a strong presence in Los Angeles. It offers accounting, tax, financial, litigation support and strategic planning work for middle-market companies. On 17 February 2026 Cherry Bekaert announced it had acquired RKE, and RKE now operates under the Cherry Bekaert brand. If you are looking for RKE itself, start with Cherry Bekaert's announcement.

AIMS360 lists RKE as an accounting partner. That is a working relationship, not a software integration: there is no data link between AIMS360 and RKE, and none is needed. A brand runs orders, inventory, receivables and payables in AIMS360, keeps its general ledger in the accounting package it already uses, and gives its CPA the reports. The Cherry Bekaert deal changes the name on the engagement letter, not anything in the software.

04

What it changes in AIMS360

Nothing in the software. There is no connection to repoint and no data to move. Update the firm name and contacts you keep on file, and send the same reports to the same people under the new name.

The distinction

A partner is not an integration

An integration is software talking to software. A partner is a firm you hire. RKE is the second kind, and the accounting integrations are the first.

Integration Partner
What it is A data connection between AIMS360 and another system A company AIMS360 works with that adds something beyond a data connection
What you get Records moving between systems without rekeying A service AIMS360 does not provide, such as tax, audit or advisory work
Who you pay Part of your AIMS360 setup The firm, on its own terms
Accounting examples QuickBooks, Xero, Sage and Business Central RKE, Fineman West, Baker Tilly and MGO

AIMS360 does not sign tax returns, issue audit opinions or advise on entity structure. Those belong with a licensed firm. The software list is on the accounting integrations page.

Manufacturing and consumer products

What a firm like RKE needs from your ERP at close

RKE lists manufacturing and consumer products among its industries. Those are the companies whose books turn on inventory, so these are the numbers a CPA asks for first.

What the firm asks for Where it comes from in AIMS360
Inventory value on the closing date Stock by style, color and size on one record, valued at average or weighted average cost, with freight and duty carried into landed cost
Work in process Production tracking holds the quantity at each stage per size, so goods out at a contractor are a reported number, not a year-end guess
Cost of goods sold Calculated from the bill of materials and the production that consumed it, then posted to your ledger
Receivables aging By customer, division, factor or salesperson, with factored and house balances apart, exported to Excel or PDF
Payables and vendor bills Bills matched to the purchase order and the receipt before approval, across vendor POs, cut tickets, garment dye and contractor work
Shipping cut-off The invoice is raised from the completed pick ticket, so the ship date and the invoice date come from the same event
Retailer deductions Chargebacks logged against the shipment and the rule that caused them, and tracked to resolution

The point is not that the numbers exist. Most brands have them in four places that disagree. AIMS360 keeps them on one record, so the inventory report, the aging and the ledger tie out. Read how the money side works on AIMS360 accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Working together

Bringing your CPA into an AIMS360 rollout

Six steps where your accountant belongs in the room, whether that is RKE, Cherry Bekaert or another firm.

  1. Name your accountant at kickoff

Tell your AIMS360 implementation manager who your CPA is and how to reach them. The rollout is run by the AIMS360 in-house team; the firm joins for the finance decisions.

  2. Agree which system owns which number

AIMS360 owns inventory value, COGS, AR aging, factor assignments, chargebacks and commissions. Your ledger and your CPA own the statements and the tax filing.

  3. Sit in the mapping session

Someone who knows your chart of accounts maps how invoices, payments, credits, AP bills and COGS post into your ledger. An hour there saves a quarter of cleanup.

  4. Agree opening balances

The ledger connection keeps AIMS360 and your books in step from go-live forward. It does not fix history, so the opening balances are agreed before day one.

  5. Set up factored and house terms

If you factor, set terms codes such as Net 30 Factored and Net 30 House, so the two populations of receivables never mix in a report.

  6. Review the first month end together

Pull the aging, inventory valuation and AP reports after the first close and compare them with the ledger while the questions are still small.
