What system manages inventory and does EDI with PacSun? AIMS360. It runs your inventory and your PacSun EDI in one platform: native maps for the 850, 856, 810 and 997 in X12 4010 on trading partner PACS, connected through the SPS Commerce network PacSun hosts its specification on, the 14 digit GTIN PacSun sends converted to your 12 digit UPC on import and back on every outbound document, the carrier PRO number, SCAC and transport code carried on every ASN, case pack SKUs cross referenced to the units inside them, bulk packed one style, color and size per carton under 35 pounds, and one UCC-128 label per carton on the end printed from the same shipment record as the ASN, all shipping to the one PacSun DC in Groveport, Ohio. Vendor Requirements
PacSun publishes nothing about its vendor program on the open web. Its vendor manual, dated August 1, 2023, goes to onboarded vendors only, and the only public specifics are a compliance vendor's summary of it, an EDI directory listing of PacSun's SPS Commerce hosted specification, and our own PacSun setup documentation. The rules below say which is which. Confirm every number in the manual your buyer sends before you plan a shipment around it.

One loop, one system, one DC, and a PRO number that has to be on the ASN.

Native vs Bolted On
PacSun runs its program on the SPS network. That settles the network. It does not settle where your orders and inventory live.
The GTIN conversion happens on import and export without anyone thinking about it, the PRO lands on the ASN from the carrier, the carton label and the ASN come off one shipment, and the case pack SKU lives once. When a retailer runs its program on SPS, AIMS360 connects to SPS natively for that retailer and your team keeps working inside AIMS360.

PacSun's program runs on the SPS network, so the question is not whether SPS is involved. It is whether your orders, inventory, shipments and invoices live in a second system that has to be kept in sync with your ERP.
A GTIN that gets truncated in one system and not the other, or an ASN that goes out without the PRO, is how a small program becomes a slow one.
PacSun Programs
One way a PacSun purchase order moves, three things that look like programs and are not, and the company behind them.
The only program. Purchase orders into the Groveport, Ohio DC, case pack or bulk, one SKU per carton, one label on the end, ASN with the PRO, invoice after. PacSun ships to stores and to pacsun.com customers from there and from its stores, so the vendor never sees a store level order.
PacSun does not run a vendor drop ship program that any public document or provider describes, and there is no 846 in its EDI set. If a buyer offers you one, send us the document and our EDI team will confirm the scope before you commit.
PacSun says 84 percent of its revenue is owned, exclusive or licensed product and its wholesale business is minimal, so third party brand slots are curated and limited. The brands it does carry sit next to its own labels and its licensed collaborations, and the buyer relationship carries more of the process than it does at a department store.
PacSun runs a pre loved resale program, a vintage program powered by SPRINGY in stores and online since December 2025, and a community app launched January 2026 that pays creator commissions. None of them is a vendor program. They are PacSun buying, curating and selling, and they do not touch your EDI.
One thing to keep straight: Pacific Sunwear of California is private, owned by Golden Gate Capital since its 2016 restructuring, headquartered in Anaheim, California, and run by CEO Brie Olson since June 2023. It reported about $970 million in 2025 sales, its tenth straight quarter of positive comps, roughly 300 stores, a first store count increase in 18 years, and a first international store in Dubai in 2026. Ecommerce is about a third of sales and TikTok Shop alone did close to $50 million in 2025. PacSun sells a lot, and very little of it is yours.
One Stock Record
A PacSun order is a curated buy into one DC, packed one SKU or one case pack per carton, so the useful number is not what you have in total, it is what you can commit to the case pack configuration PacSun ordered and still cover the retailers that reorder.

Our EDI team builds the connection and tests it through SPS Commerce with PacSun. You supply the vendor number from your buyer or the PacSun EDI department, the vendor manual PacSun sent you, the FOB terms, and the buyer's PO instructions.
