You need one system that keeps a single order book and a single stock record while each customer is priced, invoiced and paid in its own currency, and your books stay in your home currency. That's a multi-currency ERP. Here's how a foreign-currency wholesale order runs, how Shopify, B2B platforms, tax, retailer EDI and 3PLs fit around it, and where to go next for Canada, Australia and New Zealand, or the UK.
It lets you price, book, invoice and collect in each customer's currency while you run one order book, one stock record and one set of books in your home currency. In AIMS360, every style carries a price for each currency you sell in, every customer account carries one currency, and the order, invoice and payment follow it. Rates come in daily or you enter them, receivables show each balance in both currencies, and gain and loss reporting shows what the rate did.
A US brand billing a Toronto boutique in Canadian dollars, a Sydney distributor in Australian dollars and a London stockist in pounds runs all three from one AIMS360 company. A Canadian, Australian or UK brand works the same way from the other side: its company runs in CAD, AUD or GBP, and its US accounts are billed in dollars.
For a brand managing international finances, what breaks first is usually the spreadsheet beside the system, where someone converts prices by hand. AIMS360 is a consumer brands ERP that has helped 10,000+ brands since 1984.
Example: a US company, home currency US dollars, takes a fall order from a Toronto boutique that buys in Canadian dollars. Swap in euros, pounds or Australian dollars and the steps are the same.
| Step | What happens in AIMS360 | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Turn on CAD | CAD becomes an active currency. Rates are retrieved daily, or you enter one | The day's rate, ready for new orders |
| 2. Price the style | Each style and color gets a CAD wholesale, suggested retail and portal price | A Canadian price list, not a conversion |
| 3. Set the account | The Toronto account is opened in CAD. One currency per account, locked once orders or invoices exist | No guessing what a buyer pays in |
| 4. Enter the order | Lines take the CAD prices from the style; the order records the rate and date | An order in CAD with its USD value behind it |
| 5. Ship and invoice | The invoice inherits the order's rate and date | A CAD invoice, no converting |
| 6. Take payment | Payment is applied in CAD at the invoice rate by default | The invoice closes in CAD |
| 7. Read receivables | Customer AR shows each balance in CAD and USD | What the account owes in both currencies |
| 8. Revalue and report | Open balances can be revalued; gain and loss reports show rate moves | Realized and unrealized currency gains and losses |
| 9. Post to the books | Costs, report totals and ledger postings stay in USD | One set of books in your home currency |
The order line takes the Canadian price you set, so a round price stays round. Because the invoice inherits the order's rate, the USD value recorded at entry carries through, and any difference at payment shows in the gain and loss reports. Settings are on the multi-currency and divisions page.
Open each international account in the currency it pays in, price your styles in that currency, and run the orders through the same order book and allocation as your domestic accounts. A distributor in Melbourne and a boutique in Paris each see their own currency on confirmations and invoices, while you see one stock position.

Yes. Each brand in AIMS360 can run several Shopify stores, each in the same or a different currency, and every store's orders land in one order book. JOOR receives the currencies active in AIMS360 automatically, NuORDER sells in the currencies you switch on in its tab, and Brandboom has its own multi-currency setup.
A US store in dollars, a Canadian store in Canadian dollars and a European store in euros can all feed one USD company. Each store is its own connection, and its orders keep the tax Shopify calculated. Shopify integration
JOOR picks up the currencies you've activated in AIMS360, so buyers abroad order into the same order book as everyone else. JOOR integration
Switch on your selling currencies in the NuORDER tab inside AIMS360, and NuORDER orders land beside every other channel. NuORDER integration
Brandboom connects with a multi-currency setup of its own, and its orders import into the same order book. Brandboom integration
Every channel commits stock from the same record as EDI and rep orders, so a size can't be sold twice. Running more than one brand? See multiple brands, Shopify and wholesale.
Your ledger stays in your home currency, and AIMS360 syncs it with QuickBooks or Xero in both directions. GST, HST, PST, QST and VAT are applied on wholesale invoices from tax sheets you control, and orders from Shopify and other connected channels keep the tax those systems calculated.
QuickBooks Online, Desktop and Enterprise sync two ways, and so does Xero. Multi-currency has to be enabled in QuickBooks as well. Sage and NetSuite connect too. Postings are in your home currency; receivables show both. See accounting integrations and accounts receivable.
A default tax sheet holds rates by province or region, and you can edit it. Custom sheets override the rate for specific styles or colors, such as children's clothing. Tax applies to merchandise less discounts, plus freight and service items like gift wrap, and the sheets work in any country.
| Where you sell | What the tax sheet carries | Where to confirm the rules |
|---|---|---|
| Canada | GST, HST, PST and QST, by province | Canada Revenue Agency and Revenu Québec |
| Australia | GST on wholesale invoices | Australian Taxation Office |
| New Zealand | GST on wholesale invoices | Inland Revenue |
| United Kingdom | VAT on wholesale invoices | GOV.UK: How VAT works |
| Shopify and imported orders | The taxes calculated in Shopify or the source system, kept as they arrive | Your Shopify or channel tax settings |
You set and confirm the rates, and AIMS360 applies them the same way on every invoice. Whether a sale is taxable depends on where you're registered and where the goods go, so check with your accountant and update the sheet when a rate changes.
Cross-border selling runs both ways: US brands selling into foreign retailers, and brands abroad selling into US retailers. Either way, each retailer sits on an account in the currency you bill it in.
AIMS360 connects to Walmart Canada, Costco across the US, Canada and Mexico, Cabela's and Cabela's Canada, and FGL Sports, the parent of Sport Chek. In Australia it connects to David Jones and The Iconic. Farfetch, the luxury marketplace, runs from the same stock and order record, configured to your Farfetch program during implementation.
For Canadian, Australian, New Zealand and UK brands, the larger prize is often the US. AIMS360 has built-in EDI for 350+ retailers, with the 856 ship notice, GS1-128 carton labels and chargeback tracking. Your company runs in its home currency; US retailers are USD accounts. EDI is a flat monthly fee per retailer with unlimited transactions and no kilocharacter, per-document or VAN fees, with dedicated apparel EDI specialists on staff.

UPS, FedEx, DHL, Canada Post and GlobalPost connect as carriers. More than 30 warehouses have a prebuilt 3PL connection, built in house and maintained by AIMS360, including A52 in Canada and Manitoulin Group. Run more than one 3PL at once if US and Canadian orders ship from different buildings.
Shipping direct to consumers in the US from abroad? Since August 29, 2025, the US has suspended duty-free de minimis treatment for goods from every country, regardless of value (CBP guidance, CSMS 66065494), and CBP has kept it in place since, including a June 2026 rule. Settle landed cost before you price a US store. For paperwork, see import and customs documentation.
Each guide covers one market's currency, taxes, retailers and logistics.
A company in CAD, or CAD accounts on a US company. GST, HST, PST and QST on tax sheets, Walmart Canada and Costco by EDI, and Canadian 3PLs.
Australian and New Zealand brands with AUD, NZD and USD accounts on one system. GST on tax sheets, David Jones and The Iconic by EDI, and a route into US retailers.
A company in GBP with euro and dollar accounts beside it. VAT on tax sheets, Farfetch for luxury, and 350+ retailers by EDI when you sell into the US.
Rates, foreign prices per style and color, receivables in two currencies, and gain and loss reports.
Plan your customer accounts first, because each account holds one currency and it locks once orders or invoices exist. Then confirm your home currency, pick a rate rule, price the styles you'll sell abroad, and on QuickBooks, enable multi-currency there too.

Software that keeps one order book and stock record while each wholesale account is priced, invoiced and paid in its own currency. AIMS360 does this with foreign prices per style, daily or manual rates, receivables in both currencies and gain and loss reporting, beside EDI, JOOR and Shopify.
The mechanics are on multi-currency and divisions.
Not on one account. Each customer account carries one currency, and it locks once there are orders or invoices, so a buyer using two currencies gets two accounts.
Both balances show on accounts receivable.
Rates are retrieved daily, or you enter them. The invoice inherits the order's rate, payment is applied at the invoice rate by default, and gain and loss reporting shows the effect of rate moves.
